When I set out to create my logo, I wanted to incorporate something visual that had meaning – a metaphor for collaboration that transforms, moving in new directions toward positive change. As a result of my vision, I designed the image of a dragonfly floating between open, helping hands. Dragonflies symbolize traits that influence positive change and the hands represent my supportive and collaborative therapeutic style.

Dragonfly flight patterns enable them to quickly change their flight direction so they can be flexible and adaptable. Dragonflies symbolize our ability to overcome hardships/challenges and remind us that adjustments in our perspective are a necessary part of the process of change. If we want to grow, we must be willing to take a step back, evaluate our lives and make the necessary changes.

Dragonflies illuminate and change color,  depending upon the angle of the sun’s rays. They remind us to view situations in a new light and change our perception. Insight and clarity can help us on the path of discovery and enlightenment and provide hope and inspiration. Dragonflies also remind us to have light and happiness in our lives.

Dragonflies represent the stripping away of negativity/fears that hold us back from achieving our goals and dreams. They symbolize our inner wisdom/energy that holds our true potential and abilities and remind us that anything is possible if we understand and believe in ourselves.

Dragonflies navigate with elegance, grace and balance, readjusting in response to ripples in the wind. They remind us that instead of fighting the ripples or feeling stuck, we can accept and acknowledge the good and bad, then use our strength and courage to find new perspectives and get back on the path of positive change.

Dragonflies are born in the water but then transform as they learn to fly. They remind us that transformation/self-realization enhances emotional maturity, leading to positive change.
